you may want to consider the following alternative routes. All are less-traveled and more scenic than our customary routing which is shown on the map below.

Travel Interstate 40 to Exit 443 which will put you onto the scenic Foothills Parkway. Travel 5.6 miles to the intersection of Highway 321. Turn left onto Highway 321 and travel on it for 14.6 miles (Please note: you will make one sharp right-hand turn during this journey following the signs to Gatlinburg). At Buckhorn Road (Highway 454), turn right and travel .6 miles and you will see our sign on the right at Tudor Mountain Road.

Travel Interstate 40 to Exit 417 onto Highway 92. (Please note: after about 3 miles Hwy 92 turns sharply to the right). Follow Highway 92 another 9.5 miles until it intersects with Highway 411. Turn right onto Highway 411 and travel approximately 10 miles until you come to Highway 416. Turn left onto Highway 416 and go approximately 5 miles. Where 416 turns sharply to the left, continue straight into Birds Creek Road (aka Hwy 454) and proceed 5 miles to the G. Webb gallery where Bird's Creek Road becomes Buckhorn Road (straight ahead and slightly to the left). Follow Buckhorn Road about 1 mile to the Buckhorn Inn sign. Turn left onto Tudor Mountain Road and proceed the short distance to the Inn.

If you are traveling from the South via Interstate 75 or from the West on Interstate 40, take Exit 81 and travel to Maryville via Lenoir City on Highway 321. From Maryville, continue on Highway 321 to Townsend. From Townsend, take Highway 73, following signs for the National Park and onto Little River Road to Gatlinburg. In Gatlinburg, go to Traffic Light 3, turn right onto Highway 321North and travel approximately 6 miles to Buckhorn Road (aka Highway 454). Turn left onto Buckhorn Road and travel .6 miles and you will see our sign on your right at Tudor Mountain.
