Buckhorn Inn is a Gatlinburg bed and breakfast located within the Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community, which comprises the largest group of independent artisans in the country with more than 70 members. Members artisans whittle, paint, sew, cast, weave, and carve to create original collectibles such as candles, baskets, quilts, pottery, jewelry, ceramics and much more. A visit to the 8-mile loop of shops, studios, and galleries is like a visit to an era gone by where skills developed by early settlers 200 years ago are demonstrated. Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Buckhorn Inn is in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains and is convenient to many popular features of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, including the Greenbrier area. An auto tour of Greenbrier Road, which runs parallel to the Little Pigeon River, is less than one mile from the Buckhorn. From the Greenbrier area, you can reach the trailhead to Ramsay Cascades, which is one of the best waterfalls in the Smokies. You can also test your angling skills for trout in the Greenbrier, Middle Prong, or Porters Creek areas.

Gatlinburg Tennessee

Buckhorn Inn is only 5.1 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, providing the convenience of proximity, while preserving the quiet and privacy of its secluded location. Gatlinburg features dozens of gift shops, hundreds of restaurants with down-home Southern cooking, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park, and Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. See live performances at Sweet Fanny Adams Theater or Lou Vuto’s Reflections Theater.

Pigeon Forge 

Home to Dollywood and the infamous Pigeon Forge Outlet Mall, the town of Pigeon Forge is only about 8 miles from Buckhorn Inn. We have special maps for our guests that show how to get to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood via scenic back roads.
