Directions to Buckhorn Inn

Most of the time, the map shown on this page is the best way to find the inn.

From Sevierville take Dolly Parton Parkway (411). Turn right onto 416 and go approximately five miles. Where 416 turns sharply to the left, continue straight into Birds Creek Rd. and proceed 5 miles to the G Webb Gallery, where Birds Creek Rd. becomes Buckhorn Rd. (straight ahead and slightly to the left). Follow Buckhorn Rd. about 1 mile to the Buckhorn Inn sign. Turn left onto Tudor Mountain Rd., and proceed the short distance to the inn.

On busy weekends, holiday periods and during October, you may want to consider the following alternative route. It is less-traveled and more scenic than our customary routing which is shown on the map below.

Alternate Route

If you are traveling from the South via Interstate 75, take Exit 81 and travel to Maryville via Lenoir City on Highway 321. From Maryville, continue on Highway 321 to Townsend. From Townsend, take Highway 73, following signs for the National Park and onto Little River Road to Gatlinburg. In Gatlinburg, go to Traffic Light 3, turn right onto Highway 321 North and travel approximately 6 miles to Buckhorn Road (aka Highway 454). Turn left onto Buckhorn Road and travel .6 miles and you will see our sign on your right at Tudor Mountain.

If you are traveling from the West via Interstate 40, take Exit 376A onto I-140 and travel on that road to Highway 129. Turn right onto 129 and travel to Maryville. From Maryville, take Highway 321 to Townsend. From Townsend, take Highway 73, following signs for the National Park and onto Little River Road to Gatlinburg. In Gatlinburg, go to Traffic Light 3, turn right onto Highway 321 North and travel approximately 6 miles to Buckhorn Road (aka Highway 454). Turn left onto Buckhorn Road and travel .6 miles and you will see our sign on your right at Tudor Mountain.

If you are traveling from the east or west on Interstate 40, take Exit 443 which will put you onto the scenic Foothills Parkway. Travel 5.6 miles to the intersection of Hwy 321. Turn left onto Hwy 321 and travel on it for 14.6 miles (Please note: you will make one sharp right-hand turn during this journey following the signs to Gatlinburg). At Buckhorn Road (aka Hwy 454), turn right and travel .6 miles and you will see our sign on the right at Tudor Mountain Road.

Guests traveling south on Highway 81 may find it more pleasant to take Interstate 40 East to Exit 443 and come the route described above to avoid traffic snarls.
