Beautiful Location, Delicious Meals

Away from touristy, downtown Gatlinburg,  Buckhorn Inn is a beautiful inn with a lovely main lodge (dining room, common areas, and individual rooms) and individual cottages. Two couples stayed in two of the charming cottages. Screened in porches and comfy furniture inside. Serene setting, views of Mount La Conte and a peaceful nature trail. The food is delicious! Breakfast is included (several choices, all excellent) and 7:00 one-seating dinner is available with reservations. (noticed you may bring your own wine) Arrive early for breakfast to enjoy coffee on the porch overlooking the mountains or arrive early for dinner to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner begins at seven. We all loved this inn! The hosts and all the staff are professional and friendly. The aim is definitely to provide an upscale, but relaxed experience. Great attention to detail in all respects.
