Spur of the Moment

It all began with an unexpected call to fill a last minute cancellation for a spur of the moment weekend retreat. From there, it only got better. An immaculately clean cabin awaited our late arrival. A scrumptious and filling breakfast and a cheery welcome from Mr. John started our morning off just right. The prepared sack lunch let us stay in the mountains until the storms sent us back to relax on our screened in porch until time for dinner. The warm dining room, the excellent menu, and the unobtrusive service capped off a wonderful day. And then we got to do it all over again the next day. Thank you, Buckhorn Inn.
